Rectal Prolapse

SYMPTOMS

Mucous rectal prolapse is associated with the following symptoms: tenesmus, difficult bowel movements, mucus discharge, irritation and intense itching.
Total rectal prolapse is associated with the following symptoms: "wet anus", perianal dermatitis, intense itching, soreness, mucus discharge and irritation. Bowel incontinence may also frequently occur.
