The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) Annual Meeting, 1-3 July 2024, Newport

On 1-3 July THD was in Newport (UK) to participate in The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) Annual Meeting.

On 1-3 July THD was in Newport (UK) to participate in one of the most prominent events in the field of coloproctology for UK and Ireland, aimed at enhancing professional expertise through round tables discussions, dedicated sessions and advanced training: The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) Annual Meeting.

The meeting program focused on a wide range of topics, such as colorectal cancer, anal precancerous lesions diagnosis and treatment, haemorrhoids surgery, pelvic floor disorders, IBD and Emergency General Surgery (EGS).

On July 1, during the Sponsored Session “Is it a step forward in haemorrhoid treatment? A 10 year follow up on 400 patients”, Mr. Tarun Singhal presented the latest advances in haemorrhoid minimally invasive treatment with THD® Doppler for Anolift procedure.

While on July 2, during the session “The setting up of HRA service in the NHS: not just buying the kit”, Prof. Andrew Renehan talked about High Resolution Anoscopy for the early diagnosis and treatment of anal precancerous lesions.
