On 16-17 June THD was in Rovigo to participate in the conference X Giornate Rodigine di Coloproctologia

On 16-17 June THD was in Rovigo to participate in the X Giornate Rodigine di Coloproctologia conference, a CME event organized by Dr. Losacco that saw the attendance of renowned Italian specialists in the field of coloproctology.
This congress was part of a series of events organized by the Pelvic Center of Rovigo to help specialists share skills and clinical experience with each other.

The event included scientific lectures about different topics in coloproctology. The scientific program focused in particular on the screening and current epidemiologic and clinical aspects of colorectal cancer as well as on the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders. The advantages and critical issues associated with the main diagnostic and therapeutic options available for these types of diseases were discussed during round tables and scientific sessions.

Great attention was given to the role of High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) in the screening of intraepithelial anal lesions and HPV-related lesions.
