On 25-27 September THD was in Thessaloniki for one of the most prominent scientific events in the field of coloproctology, aimed at enhancing healthcare professionals’ expertise through advanced training, dedicated sessions and round tables discussions: the ESCP Conference.

The conference program was an engaging exploration of a wide range of crucial topics, such as the impact of colorectal cancer, the challenges of anal precancerous lesions diagnosis and treatment, the management of haemorrhoidal disease and anal fistula, and Emergency Colorectal Surgery.

In particular on September 25th, during the Symposium "Anal Precancerous Lesions. Diagnosis & Treatment: Prevention of Anal Cancer", distinguished lecturers delved into the alarming HPV epidemiology and the risk factors for the development of anal carcinoma.

They presented the latest clinical evidence and the insights from the Outcomes Research Study (ANCHOR study) on Anal Cancer-HSIL, highlighting the advancements in the diagnosis, therapy and follow-up of AIN/SIL. The audience showed great interest as the speakers illustrated the remarkable advantages of the THD system for the minimally invasive laser treatment of anal precancerous lesions.
