Annual Saudi International Colorectal Diseases Forum, 3-5 March 2024, Riyadh

On 3-5 March 2024 THD was in Saudi Arabia to participate in the Annual Saudi International Colorectal Diseases Forum held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh.

On 3-5 March 2024 THD was in Saudi Arabia to participate in the Annual Saudi International Colorectal Diseases Forum held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh.

For the first time, the forum hosted the 3rd ESCP Beyond Europe Masterclass, held on 3-4 March in collaboration with the ESCP (ESCP - European Society of Coloproctology), to discuss the current challenges in the modern management of colorectal cancer and exchange experience among colorectal surgeons in both societies.

Also, the forum hosted the First GGC Colorectal Meeting on 5 March 2024 to share insights on future opportunities among colorectal surgeons in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The scientific program covered different colorectal topics including diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer, pelvic floor disorders and other benign diseases as well as highlights on new techniques for dealing with challenging colorectal cases.

This event of significant scientific value was a unique opportunity to discuss with experienced international experts the most advanced technologies and procedures for the treatment of several colorectal disorders.
